How Infrared creams work
Skin over cellulite is colder and has poor circulation, so most creams just sit on top. Our Infrared creams with Black Tourmaline heat it up from within, which is why they work deepest. Watch it play through, or tap a step.
The skin over cellulite is physically colder because blood flow there is poor. Most creams are made of large molecules that cannot pass the outer layer of skin on their own, so they moisturise the top and go no further.
GUAM creams are made on a seaweed mud base, rich in iodine, magnesium and calcium. Massaging it in with upward strokes warms the skin and helps the seaweed actives travel past the surface.
Black Tourmaline absorbs your body heat and sends it back as Far Infrared rays that reach 2-3cm under the skin. Blood rushes into the small capillaries, so the skin turns pink and feels hot. That is normal and a good sign: it means microcirculation is working.
With circulation going, caffeine and seaweed actives work on the fat cells under the skin, where cellulite forms. Used every day, skin looks smoother and feels firmer.
