The study and experimentation that Lacote has made in recent years on the interaction between the most important active ingredients of Guam Seaweed Mud (Marine Algae and Clay) with active minerals, has given rise to an extraordinarily effective result incorporating the Tourmaline into the preparation black, a pure natural mineral, micronized to 53 microns (dimensions in which it maintains its properties intact).
Major Italian universities, including the Universities of Genoa and Milan, were involved to test the effectiveness of the products with FIR properties. A number of studies and testing were carried out on different minerals during research on FIR Guam Seaweed Mud. The tests have shown the capacity of FIR Guam Seaweed Mud, where the original formula is enriched with Tourmaline Mineral , to better absorb body heat and re-emit it in the form of Far Infrared Rays (FIR), causing an increase in localized temperature, which is prolonged also after having applied the product.
Thermographic tests have also been carried out 15 minutes after the application of FIR Guam Seaweed Mud, to measure the average increase in skin temperature. The subjects that applied the treatment showed an average increase in skin temperature of 1.8°C, with a maximum peak of 2.6°C. The heat, not only relaxes tense muscles, but also increases skin microcirculation, improves tissue oxygenation and promotes the repair of damaged tissues.
As a result, with this new formulation, the Guam Seaweed Mud treatment increases the skin temperature and absorbs the body's heat which is re-emitted in the form of far infrared rays (FIR), to the advantage of cells and tissues with the increase of skin microcirculation also allows a better absorption of the active ingredients of Guam Seaweed.
